I am sorry I have been so quiet lately. We had a friend of my kids come and stay last week and I was also trying to get some work done that I can’t show you yet.
I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! May it be filled with happiness, health and lots of laughter. To thank you for visiting my blog, I thought it would be great to end 2011 with some more blog candy. This time it contains:

I’ve been playing with the bargello technique and having a ton of fun with it.. it reminds me a lot of the quilting Seminole Indians in the US do. I thought that might transfer nicely to cards as well..

Whatever I’ve used … glue, spray, dots, tape runner … they all leave sticky residue one place or another … and sometimes lots of it. I’d love to see a tutorial on how to successfully adhere a variety of these types of design elements to projects. Thanks for offering the blog candy. 🙂

visual tutorials are always a treat for me because I am more of a visual learner so any time you do a written tutorial then video ….. that’s great! There is a card out there called “front pleated” that I’d like to see. Was just thinking how about a video showing how you layer your cards with all the wonderful ribbons and papers. I try but mine come out looking like a mess.

I belong to the stamp club in AZ that sent our cards to the troops via your husband. This year our club made and sent almost 800 cards for the holidays to the troops; our goal next year is 1,000
