I am working on posts for next week and for submissions, so I have  no card or project to share with you today. Instead I thought I offer up a few Crafty Secrets Products that might work for Valentine’s projects.

This Blog Candy includes:

  • Classic Paper Pack
  • Vintage Postage Kit
  • Cherub Clear Art Stamp set

If you are interested in the blog candy please leave a comment under this post and I will draw a winner on Wednesday with help of random.org.

How about you tell me if you have a favorite kind of stamp or stamp company. I think for me it’s definitely outline stamps of flowers and people, so I can use my Copics. But then…I also love solid stamps, especially frames like JustRite Stampers or Waltzingmouse. They are perfect for fast cards.

Have a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs and smiles

  11. Hello Beate, I actually just bought my first Crafty Secrets Stamp Set ( Material Girl ) to go with the Spellbinders Dress Form Die Set that you posted a video on a while back. I finally got the nerve to enter a Dress Form Tag Swap at Mini Album Scraps & thought the mini stamp set would be a perfect accent. Anyway I agree with any stamp that can be Copic Colored. You inspied me to take the plunge about a year ago. Thank you for all your inspiation, territorials, & a chance at some Fabulous Stamps. Hugs! Traci ;0)

  12. I myself like Magnolia stamps. They are just so darn cute! I don’t have many cuz I have not mastered the copics yet, but I am working on it. I would like to thank you for your videos. My husband said I’m a little slow and need all the help I can get. LOL.

  14. Hallo Beate,
    Ursula W.

I’m a promarker gal, and tend to prefer images I can colour. Faves at the moment are the Kenny K images and Krista Smiths – both the Simply Sassy rubber stamps and her new digis. I have started getting into background stamps and using embossing and resist techniques for those.

  51. Oooh, FABULOUS giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win some crafty goodness, Beate!
My favourite stamp companies are Flourishes and The Greeting Farm and I have yet to buy any Waltzing Mouse Stamps but, I SO badly want to and I am SURE they’d be a FAVOURITE of mine, too! I’d say my favourite types of stamps are floral/botanical (Flourishes, Paper and Such) and silhouettes (Flourishes) which are GREAT for making a QUICK and CLASSY card! I do like character stamps but, I’m quite picky about those for some reason…however, I do LOVE almost everything from TGF! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention, I also LOVE Spellbinders compatible stamps (Waltzing Mouse, The Craft’s Meow)!

Hope you had a WONDERFUL weekend!
    Hugs,
    Naomi

  52. I’m fairly new to stamping so I’m still having fun testing the “waters” of the stamp world. Thanks so much for sharing all of your ideas. I really like the video tutorials.

  53. Thanks for a chance to win candy! I love images that I can color with distress inks. I’m just learning this technique and love any stamps that work well for this. I love Flourishes and Heartfelt Creations stamps! Both companies have such wonderful flower stamps. I’m a flower kinda girl!

  55. You know, Beate, I think I love all sorts of stamps, and given enough cash I would buy ALL of them. But, if I have to choose, I’d say I love cute images of people, animals and flowers that I can colour in. I’m still learning to colour with Copics (it has become my fave medium) but like you, sometimes the simple stamps are great for fast cards. My fave companies are MFT, Taylored Expressions, Gina K, Waltzing Mouse and Paper Smooches. Thanks for a chance in the giveaway. Have a great day!! {hugs}

  56. Hi Beate, and thanks for offering up this delish blog candy! I also love to color with copics, and right now I’m having fun coloring up the sweet Tilda and Edwin images from Magnolia.
    Have a wonderful week!

  57. Good luck with the projects you are working on! I base what stamps I buy, totally on design appeal and whether or not I think I will use it. I have been known to buy a set of stamps for just one or two. I never thought about it but I would say that I too favor outline stamps, yet I do have a few solid stamps that I like, as well. I never thought about the type of stamp that appeal to me–as you say flowers and people. Hmmm. I’ll have to think about that. In the meantime THANK YOU for offering the Crafty Secrets blog candy. Their products greatly appeal to me but I don’t own any. I’d love to try to work with them. 🙂

  58. Hi Beate,

    Lovely blog candy!
I was thinking our next PCS would bring us your way, but alas we’re off to Tinker.
    Happy Monday.

  61. I really like to use stamps from Stampin’ Up, there are so many options. I also have a lot of Hero arts in my collection as well. Thank you for the chance to win blog candy!

  62. I too like the outline stamps, as long as they have some shaded areas to guide your colouring and shading using Copics. I have also been purchasing some digital stamps and really like how you can resize them for different applications.

  63. I love an assortment which included Gina K., Art Impressions, and Unity! It really depends on the situation. I have many other companies, but tend to land back on these. Thanks for the chance to win, Beate

  64. Favourites? Oh that’s so hard. If I could only pick one stamp company I guess it would be Flourishes because I love their classic timeless appeal. I prefer that to cutesy types. I also like Just Rite and Waltzingmouse stamps that fit with the Spellbinder dies for quick cards.
Thanks for the chance to win some Valentines goodies!

  65. Thanks for offering such great blog candy! My favorites are Tim Holtz stamps and JustRite stamps to cut with my spellbinder dies! I always love your projects so I hope you will share the ones you are working on after CHA!

  66. I’m rather partial to Michael Strong stamps (http://www.strongstamps.com/) – he doesn’t have a big selection but those he *does* have are gorgeous and stamp beautifully. They’re good for colouring too.

  67. Such wonderful blog candy Beate!!! My favourite stamp co. is Unity Stamp Company. They are so versatile and have such a wonderful selection of stamps – there is something for everyone!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  68. Ooh what a beautiful giveaway Beate! I have too many that I love, but my favorite would be Papertrey, & love the Pure Innocence kids @ My Favorite Things. If I didn’t have to work (don’t have time for work) I’d certainly have more stamp companies. I must say that I’ve always liked Crafty Secrets products, don’t know why I don’t own any. These look beautiful. Thank you!

  69. Good Morning Beate!
Thanks so much for a chance to win some candy! It’s wonderful! I would have to say my fave stamps are anything I can color.
Thanks again! Have a great day!

  70. Oh this is a gorgeous blog candy Beate, thank you for offering it up!!! My fave stamp company currently is Lawn Fawn – love the cute images that are perfect for coloring, and their stamps leave the very clearest impression I have ever seen! High quality for sure 🙂

  71. Flower and nature stamps are probably my favorite types of stamps, not sure I have a favorite stamp company, but have to admit that I certainly own a lot of Gina K Designs stamps and JustRite Stamps. How nice of your to offer up this wonderful blog candy just for leavin a comment. Thanks so much or all your inspiration.

  72. I tend to gravitate toward really whimsical images and I like stamps that are easy to color like Lawn Fawn and Chrissy Armstrong stamps. I just hope that someday I can take a Copics class so I can learn to color them and do all the beautiful shading like you do.

  73. I love flower and nature stamps and Flourishes has the most beautifully detailed stamps that I love to color. Guess that makes them my favorite but I love stamps of any kind. I always like to try something new. Always enjoy your posts amd learm so much from you. I am always inspired by your creativity and talent. Thanks for a chance at your great candy.

  74. Hi Beate – thanks so much for the chance to win this amazing blog candy. I love Stampin Up stamps, anything nature (trees, birds etc) and also all my digi stamps especially Sugar Nellie.

    Hugs.

    Karen x

  75. What a great idea and nifty stamp set. I tend to gravitate toward floral or little girls but am trying to break that and expand my stamping images.

  76. Thanks for the chance to win your blog candy! I like nature stamps – trees, flowers, animals. Also, holiday stamps. I always send cards for every holiday even little known ones like nurses day, chocolate cake day, etc. Puts a smile on the receivers face! Hugs!!

  77. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win your blog candy!!! I love all stamps. I just recently started using Copic markers and now I am in love with coloring again. I love Magnolia stamps, Sarah Kay stamps, and any flowers. I have gotten back into making cards since I have begun to color with the copic markers. Thanks also for sharing your amazing talent with all of us, it is greatly appreciated more than you know.

  78. I usually choose stamps that go with my favourite styles: shabby chic, vintage and elegant. I love to colour so I gravitate towards outline stamps but I still like some that look good on their own when I’m in a hurry or need to make multiples. My favourite companies are PTI, TE, Flourishes, Crafty Secrets, Waltzing mouse and MTF. I love florals, baby images, sentiments and verses in beautiful fonts, anything scrolly or in the shape of a frame and vintage images. I also go for cute or funky boy images as I have boys ages 11, 4.5 and 3 weeks.

  79. Thank you so much for the blog candy offer. It looks amazing. I am fairly new to card making but like the Technique Tuesday stamps. I don’t know much about the others YET! but I am learning. I don’t have the Copic markers but will definitely have to look into them. The cards you have made using them are beautiful. Thanks for your inspiration.

  80. WOW!!!!Great blog candy! I want to win!!!!! My favorite stamps??? FLOWERS, FLOWERS and FLOWERS!!!!! Bye! Have a nice day…

  81. Well, I miss a card from you today but the candy is great!! Nice of you to offer it.

  82. Wow…what lovely blog candy. I would have to say my favorite kind of stamps are floral and also vintage looking stamps. Thanks for all the work you do at Splitcoast and all your fabulous tutorials. They have really helped me grow in my creativity!

  83. I’ve loved coloring since I was a little girl, so my favorites have to be stamps that you can color! However, when I’m short on coloring time, it’s nice to have those handy dandy, no-color stamps too! Thanks, Beate, for a chance to win! Have a good day!

  84. What a fun giveaway!! My favorite kinds of stamps are ones that match nestabilities and ones for coloring. My favorite stamp companies are My Favorite Things (just adore the Pure Innocence stamps!) and Unity, they’re both awesome!! 🙂

  85. Hi Beate!!! Thanks for the chance to win!!!! I really like several types of stamps … infant for girls or boy, love, etc.And use watercolor pencils to color, because in my country there is no Copics. Hugs from Argentina!!!!

  86. I love this stamps, thanks for the chance and I’m the same way I love any stamp that I can color with my copic.

  87. Thank you for such a fun blog candy drawing. I too like stamps that I can color with my Copic markers.

Mo Manning has the absolute best little faces and expressions on her art and I use her stamps and digital designs for my personal pages and cards for my family primarily.

I am drawn to floral stamps, foliage and trees as well. I do so many cards to give away, Operation write home and others so I often do a lot of stamping at once. Then I color many of one design, trying different techniques and colors, while watching and learning from the talented papercrafters (LIKE YOU) and all the generous tutorials online. Thank you for what you do.

  88. Seems like perfect goodies for Valentine. Thanks for a chance to win…it’s always nice.

  89. What an awesome Candy bundle! As for my favorite stamps, I think Layers of Color have been mine for a while, but it seems they are reformatting now, so my second fav is the Simply Sassy line from SugarNellie. I don’t get out much so haven’t heard of crafty secrets, but these sets look luscious! I am very much a vintage nut (hence the love of LOC) Thanks for this opportunity to win! Blessings

  92. I’d LOVE to win your blog candy! Stamps? I love them all! Stampin Up, Penny Black, Stampscapes AND Crafty Secrets; all of them special for different reasons.

  93. Hi Beate, I love your videos – they are so helpful to me! My favorite stamps are images that instantly convey what you want them to. Such as a dripping ice cream cone conveys Heat in Summer, and a birthday cake or cupcake conveys Happy birthday. Also tiny baby items means there’s a new baby to celebrate! You basically don’t need the sentiment to get your idea across.
Thanks for a chance at some goodies.

  94. I love Stampin’ Up Stamps, Hero Arts, Penny Black, to name a few. I like “Earthy” stamps- trees, flowers, birds, etc. I also love vintage anything! That’s why I am so excited about this blog candy! I do not own Copic’s yet, but when I do, I know I’ll be drawn to stamps I can color and shade! I am now but I use blender pens, watercolor crayons ( Stampin Up makes some beautiful ones), colored pencils, etc. I also love background stamps! I am also partial to Tickled Pink and anything Elisabeth Bell creates. I am horrible at coloring – still color like a child – but I do love to try. Thanks for the chance to win this sweet candy!

  108. I am more and more drawn to the vintage looking cards that use a variety of stamps. I have almost exclusively Stampin Up. I am finding it harder and harder to see new stamp sets I want to add to my collection. These stamps in the candy blog look very interesting.

  109. Flower stamps! No particular company’s stamps, I love ’em all.

  110. Oh what lovely blog candy! I’ve just finished my stamp catalog and it seems I love flower stamps as I have more of them then any others. Thanks for the chance to win.
    Blessings Bernie

  134. There are so many wonderful stamp companies to choose from and I have quite a mixture of them. In review, though, I tend to like the older Penny Black stamps (especially the dog and mice – themed ones), Lawn Fawn (cute, contemporary images just made for coloring & great fonts) and Papertreyink (wonderful variety) .

  135. Hi Beate,
I admire your blog and your techniques. You are a true inspiration. The companies I buy from and like the most are Our Daily Bread, Flourishes, Verve and Stampin’ Up. I love the florals from Flourishes.
