Since I don’t have anything new to show you until next week, I thought I give away another little something something. The die set is retired, but perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s Day and the stamp set I have an extra off.

I just started making Valentine’s Day cards this week for the first time. In college I used to call it “Icky icky day” but now I appreciate occasions so send cards to friends and I think my own little boys would enjoy receiving them (before they get too embarassed by them!). Hi Beate, this is so nice of you to have a drawing. nestabilities are my favorite dies! they work so well compared to this other company that my friend bought a couple of thier dies and it is a major ordeal to get them to cut out properly. for my money it’s Nestabilities or sizzix dies.
I guess I don’t make cards for easter. do have a couple of prototypes done for valentines now just find time to actually do them.

I make Valentine Cards for a few friends and family. Always an extra special one for my hubby too. :o) I really enjoy making them after all the Christmas cards. 🙂

I hope your lack of projects means you are headed to CHA! Can you pack me in your suitcase? I would so love to go and drool for a couple days! I do make things for most holidays. Since I work a full-time job I usually make my co-workers a little gift for the holidays and Valentine’s is one of them. And since most of my kids are away from home I usually send them something too. That reminds me; I haven’t started that yet. Better get myself in gear!

Any excuse to make cards and gifts is on my list, i do prefer to make them personalised to the recipicant than mass produced and as i send them to family and friends hearts are usually about all year through, valentines day is definitely an occassion i look forward to after all the christmas supplies have been put away. Since I am fairly new at card making, it will be my fist year making Valentine’s Day cards. I plan to make a gorgeous one for my fiancé and some for my family.

Every year I make Valentines for my grand kids in college. They look forward to getting a card with a little something tucked in it. Now I have 3 great grand children to send cards to, also! I always try to out-do the last year’s card, especially the one I make for my dear husband! Can’t wait to get started on the valentines. I enjoy making cards and send out at least 3 a week to shut-ins from church and friends having special days or who need cheering up. I love Spellbinders but do not have any heart shaped ones yet. With Christmas being my favorite season to craft for….Valentine’s Day is my second favorite!! I love Valentine’s Day and have made about 15 cards so far using a variety of stamps from Paper Trey Ink, Taylored Expressions, and My Favorite Things. Also used tons of Spellbinders and My Favorite Things Die-namics dies. I like the vintagey look and have incorporated that into my Valentine’s cards this year. Super fun!

I missed getting that Spellbinders set when they were available and regret it, too. There are 7 of us who get together once a month to make cards (twice a month in the summer when schools out) and we usually bring seasonal cards to make, so using the heart set would be wonderful to share with them.

Hello Beate, I love making Valentines, in fact all kinds of cards. I have a little outlet in our small Australian Town here in Dorrigo, NSW; who kindly sells those cards that I don’t use. Valentines can be so personal that mostly the cards I make are from Commissions people ask me to make for their loved ones! I have these dies [but my sister doesn’t 😉 ] and they are a keen favourite this time of year.

I love Valentine’s Day and send a few cards out each year…usually to different family and friends…they never know when they might get a handmade card! When I have time, I make up little treat bags and stamp tags on them for my book club friends. The Spellbinders set is so cute!

I only make valentine cards for the little ones in my family, both grand and great grandchildren. They love receiving them.

I do like making Valentine’s cards. There’s a great challenge over at Stamp TV, you have to use NON traditional colors, no red, no pink! Kind of FUN to make them that way! Happy New Year!

I actually make quite a few Valentine Cards. I have a good many widows in my Sunday School class and they seem to feel “depressed” at this time since they no longer have a spouse that sends them a card. So I make Valentine cards for them and it seems to help brighten their day just a little! I love these hearts and thank you for alway sharing your talent with those of us stalkers who need the inspiration to look good with our own cards!!

When I started papercrafting a few years ago my first card was for Valentines Day…so using hearts on my cards has a special place in my heart!

I haven’t really done any valentine project ever. Valentines in Poland is not as big as in USA and still a lot of people doesn’t want to celebrate a foreign holiday. However in my opinion every occasion to celebrate LOVE is fantastic 🙂 and we should make as many of them as possible. Saying that: thank you for a chance to win this wonderful gifts 🙂

I have made Valentine’s cards since my children were little. My favorite things was when we made for the great grandparents. She always kept potato chips in her cupboard. One year the post office couldn.t quit laughing when the Valentine was addressed to “Great Grama with the ketchup chips in the cupboard” They even knew who it was for. We always used a big red heart and a white paper doily. Good memories! Thank for the chance to win!
