Welcome to the NinaB Designs‘s 2nd blog hop! We had a great time last month and we just want to thank you for your enthusiasm and encouraging words. The NBD team has new projects to show you today featuring NinaB Designs Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (Home Sweet Home and Sewing Elements), The Craft’s Meow Stamps, and Want2Scrap bling.

We have added a new twist to our hop. Not only do we have tons of inspiration for you, but we also are joining in the Crafty Friends’ challenge that you can participate in. And of course, there will be prizes up for grabs! You will find more info below.

I started out by stamping one of the gorgeous frames from The Craft’s Meow’s Lovely Label 18 in Espresso Colorbox Craft Ink on Kraft cardstock. Once it was dry it was cut and embossed with the largest Label 18 Nestabilities die. A piece of My Mind’s Eye Follow Your Heart Be Happy paper was cut and embossed with a Standard Circle Nestabilities die, sanded and adhered to the center of the label with dimensional adhesive.

Another piece of Be Happy paper was cut and embossed with the dress form die from Sewing Elements. The edges were sanded and the embossed parts colored with Espresso ink. Vellum paper was embossed with the Wing dies from Home Sweet Home and adhered under the dress form. The dress form was taped to the circle layer with dimensional adhesives.

More Be Happy paper was cut and embossed with the second smallest Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and and Classy Corner Bling were added. May Arts ribbon was tied around the layers before the paper was adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Rectangle die.The layers were adhered to the card base. A sentiment from The Craft’s Meow’s Sew Lovely stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of  Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a tag die from the Home Sweet Home collection. A heart from Sew Lovely was stamped in Tattered Rose Distress Ink. The tag was tied to the ribbon bow with Linen Thread and a button.

Hi everyone! For all my followers that have been with me quite a while, you might remember when I first started blogging and had a weekly sketch challenge. I missed having a challenge with my friends, so I started a new one. I hope you can join us over at Crafty Friends Challenges. This challenge is just supposed to be for fun. No stress. It will be a bi-weekly challenge and the first challenge is Vintage.

For my card I stamped the gorgeous main image from Butterfly Kisses in Pink Petunia VersaMagic ink. The image was cut out and  Frost Smooch Glitz was added over the flower and wings of the image.  A frame was cut and embossed out of Kraft cardstock with the third largest Large Petite Oval Nestabilities die and the largest Floral Oval Nestabilities die. A piece of Pink Paislee London Market Patterned paper was cut with the next size up oval. The frame was adhered over the oval with dimensional adhesive and the fairy was adhered to the left hand side of the frame.

Another piece of London Market paper was cut and embossed with the second smallest Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die, sanded and the edges were stitched. May Arts ribbon was tied around it vertically and threaded through one of the Floral Oval openings. The bow was topped with a button, tied on with a Linen Thread.  The layers were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Rectangle die.

A piece of white cardstock was cut and embossed with one of the Nested Pennant dies. A sentiment from Butterfly kisses was stamped on it with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The pennant was shaped and adhered to the upper right hand side of the frame. The butterfly from the set was stamped in Pixie Dust Versamagic. It was cut out and adhered next to the sentiment. Rhinestones from Baby Bling and Sleek Strips Silver Rhinestones were added to the frame and the butterfly. Part of a Fancy That! Border Bling on the upper left hand corner finish off the card.

This card didn’t just work for our new challenge, but also for the current Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge, which is to use buttons and bows. I LOVE adding a button over my bows to finish them off. Oftentimes my bows look naked without that button!
