Little Darlings Rubber Stamps are launching a new line of images called Cutie Pies. Five of these darling new images are being released today. You can find them in newly named (formerly Love to Stamp) Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Online store.

For my sample I stamped first Flowers for you in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. The image was masked, then Teddy & Me was stamped next to her. The image was cut and embossed with the smallest of the Grand Circle Nestabilities dies (the images are big, fun to color!) and colored with Copic Markers (Hair Boy: Y11, Y21, E31, E33     Hair Girl: Y26, E35, E37, E29     Skin:E0000, E00, E11, BV000   Boy Eyes: B000, B12    Girl Eyes: E57, E59   Girl Shirt: R20, R21, R22, R24    Boy Shirt: G03, G05, G07, E41, E42, E43   Skirt/Shoes: C00, C1, C3, C5, C7   Jeans: B93, B95, B97, B99  Boy Shoes: E33, E35, E37, E39    Flowers: Y13, Y15, Y17, YR15, YG03, YG17   Ground: YG01, YG03, YG17, W3, W5, E31,  Background: B0000, B000). Texture was added to the teddy with a piece of old towel and to the Jeans with an old piece of jeans sprayed with Colorless Blender.

Grass was added with Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen in May Green. The image was adhered to a piece of black cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Scalloped Circle Nestabilities die. I added Yellow Stickles over the flowers for a subtle sparkle and adhered three Zva Creative Flowers to the right side of the circles.

A white strip of paper was cut and embossed with a Lace Doily Accent die and adhered to the lower right side of a 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Echo Park Country Drive patterned paper. The paper strip was adhered to a 5 1/4″ square of Country drive paper. Another paper piece from the same paper pack was cut and embossed with a Standard Circle Nestabilities die. It was cut into a partial circle and adhered to the lower left corner of the paper square. The layers were stitched to a 3/16″ bigger piece of black cardstock.

White Organdy Ribbon was colored with Copic Marker R22 and tied  around the horizontal strip. The image layers were adhered over the ribbon with dimensionals. The card base was cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die out of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Parts of a Finesse Rhinestone Swirl was adhered to the upper right hand corner and just a tiny piece under the flower trio.

Sentiments from Whimsy’s Love Mini Tickets were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Solar White cardstock. The tickets were cut out and the center was colored with Copic Marker B0000. The sentiments were adhered underneath the bow. Three Baby Bling Rhinestones on the sentiment finish off the card.

The card is also a sample for this weeks Little Darlings challenge, which is Favorite Embellishments. If you have been to my blog before, you know I LOVE my Organdy ribbon and Rhinestone swirls! Check out more Cutie Pie samples at these blogs:

CardMaker Magazine is launching a new blog and is featuring Little Darling Stamps today. Little Darling stamps will be included in CardMaker Magazine’s “Our Favorite Products” in the January issue that is on sale in stores now. To celebrate this occasion, Angie Hunt is giving away five Little Darling Stamps, one from each of the five releases so far, to a random commenter on her blog.

For my card I did something for the first time. I merged digital images. When I agreed to help out for this event, I got to pick a Little Darlings image, but as digital image. I picked the darling Ice Dancer. To give her an area to skate on, I purchased this Ice Skating Lake digi image from Make it Crafty. I followed the excellent tutorial on merging images from Crafty Cardmakers, which made it very easy to merge my images.

I printed them out on Neenah Solar White cardstock and cut the image with the largest of the Standard Circle Nestabilities dies. The image was colored with Copic Markers (Coat and socks: R24, R29, R39   Coat Trim: C00, C1, C3   Skirt and shoes: E42, E43, E44, E47   Shirt: E40, E42   Skin: E50 E51, E53, BV00   Hair: Y21, Y23, E33   Trees: G21, G24, G28   Sky: B0000, B000, B00, B91) before it was layered on to a piece of Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest scallop circle from the standard circle collection. Stardust Stickles was used to add sparkle to the snow and Glossy Accents on part of the lake.

For my card layout I used the current Sketch Saturday Sketch. Little Darlings is sponsoring it this week. The winner will be receiving a $15 merchant gift voucher from LovetoStamp.

I cut a circle with a Grand Circle Nestabilities die out of  Echo Park’s Times & Seasons paper and sanded the edges. One 2 1/8″ and a 2 3/8″ wide strip from the same paper pack were also cut and embossed with the same die and had their edges sanded.

A white cardstock strip was cut and embossed with one of the Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities dies and adhered under the blue layer. A piece of White Crochet Lace was adhered to one side of the red layers. Both of the strips were adhered to the circle layer and the edges were stitched.

White Organdy ribbon was tied around the horizontal strip, topped with a button tied on with Silver Curling ribbon. The layers were then adhered to a card front, cut and embossed with a Grand Scalloped Circle die out of Solar White cardstock.  A sentiment from Whimsy’s Treasured Moments Tickets was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a Standard Nestabilities circle die. The sentiment center was colored with Copic Markers B000, B00. Part of a Finesse Rhinestone swirl and more silver Rhinestones finish off the card front.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Good luck winning those stamps.
Have a wonderful day!

I am excited to be a Guest Designer for Little Darlings new rubber stamp release. I stamped the image called Snowy Friends in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. It was cut and embossed with a Classic Circle Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Skin: E0000, E00, R20 Hair: E99, E37, E29 Pants: E42, E43, E44 Jacket: G0000, G00, G00 Shoes: R24, R27, R39 Hat: YR15, Y18, R24, R28 Snowman Scarf: G03, G05, G07 Snowman hat: C3, C5, C7, C9 Branch: E25, E29 Eyes: E99, E39, E27).

The image was masked and two cloud masks were added before the circle was airbrushed with Copic Marker B41. The bottom was covered with Polar White Flower Soft.   The bottom of the clouds were colored with Copic Markers (W00, W0, W1). The layer was adhered to a piece of Canyon Brown Cardstock, cut and embossed with a Big Scalloped Circle Nestabilities die.

A white paper strip was cut with MFT’s  new Icicle Border die. It was adhered under a 4″ square of Echo Park Holly Jolly Paper and a slim strip of white cardstock was adhered on top. The layers were stitched to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Holly Jolly paper. The bottom two corners were rounded and white organdy ribbon was tied around the horizontal layers before the image was adhered with dimensionals.

Two snowflakes were cut out of white cardstock with Whimsy Layered Snowflake die, stacked and topped with a brad, that had been colored with Copic Marker G02. The snowflake was adhered to the upper right edge of the layers, part of a Finesse Rhinestone Swirl to the top right.

Another snowflake was cut with the smallest of the MFT Snowflakes die-namic dies. It was adhered to the top of the bow with Glossy Accents. A Baby Bling Rhinestone was adhered in the center of the snowflake.

A sentiment from The Cats Pajama’s Bearing Flowers was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a Classic Circle Nestabilities die. It was airbrushed with Copic Marker B41 and adhered to the lower right  of the image.
